Account Director – Integrated Campaigns
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Benefits Location: London (Hybrid Working – 3 Days Office-Based) Contract: Full-Time
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Account Director who excels at blending culture, creativity, communications, and brand storytelling?
Our client is an award-winning independent communications and marketing agency, specialising in campaigns that spark conversation, engagement, and measurable impact. As the agency grows, they seek an ambitious Account Director to lead high-profile clients across:
- Hospitality
- Technology
- Entertainment
- Lifestyle and sports sectors
This role transcends traditional account management, offering the chance to:
- Lead integrated campaigns blending communications, social, influencer marketing, partnerships, content, and experiential activations.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic thinking, creative excellence, and flawless execution.
- Build and expand client relationships, drive account growth, and ensure commercial success with culturally resonant work.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, aligning strategies with business goals.
- Lead strategic campaign planning and facilitate integrated thinking across all disciplines.
- Foster long-term client relationships by delivering consistent excellence and anticipating needs.
- Uncover innovation opportunities and propose high-value solutions.

Integrated Campaign Management
- Oversee campaign ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, social, and specialist teams to execute cohesive campaigns.
- Drive culturally relevant, audience-centric solutions that maximise commercial impact.
- Maintain oversight from briefing to final delivery, ensuring quality at every stage.
Team Leadership
- Support and coach a growing team, creating a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Encourage creative thinking, professional development, and cross-functional accountability.
- Foster an environment where curiosity and continuous improvement are the norm.
Strategic Consultancy
- Challenge briefs and surface opportunities that clients may overlook.
- Contribute to campaign strategy, communications planning, and workshops.
- Translate audience insights and cultural trends into actionable, data-driven recommendations.
Commercial Management
- Own account profitability, forecasting, and marketing spend.
- Manage budgets, scopes of work, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Identify growth ambitions to expand client revenues and account scope.
Business Development
- Lead and refine new business proposals and pitch strategies.
- Shape integrated client responses to tailor them to each brand’s needs.
- Contribute to agency marketing, thought leadership efforts, and industry authority.
About You
The ideal candidate is a commercially astute, relationship-driven communicator with a proven track record in integrated marketing, PR, or communications agencies.

- Agency leadership: Years of experience in account services, strategic consultancy, or a similar role.
- Integrated campaign expertise: A history of delivering multi-channel campaigns (communications + social + experiential + partnerships).
- Client-first mindset: Proven ability to build, maintain, and elevate client relationships.
- Team management: Experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Commercial acumen: Strong grasp of budgeting, financials, and account growth.
- Communication finesse: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and influencing skills.
- Sector fluency: Experience with high-profile or global brands in hospitality, lifestyle, tech, entertainment, or sport.
- Cultural understanding: Deep insight into trends and behaviours shaping consumer decisions.
