Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for an Account Director to join our International Partnerships Commercial team!
Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.
At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.
About the role:
We're hiring an Account Director to own and grow InPost's most strategically significant client relationships — major enterprise retailers, marketplace operators, and reseller partners. A defining part of this portfolio is our Chinese-origin ecommerce partners, so fluent Mandarin is essential to build trust, negotiate confidently, and represent InPost credibly with these partners' teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own revenue retention, renewal, and growth targets across a portfolio of InPost's most strategically significant enterprise clients, marketplace operators, and reseller/aggregator partners.
- Operate at director level, building trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite, commercial directors, and senior operational stakeholders across multiple geographies.
- Design and own bespoke, multi-year strategic account plans reviewed through executive-level business reviews (QBR/MBR).
- Lead complex, high-value commercial negotiations — contract renewals, bespoke pricing, international service agreements, and multi-territory terms — working closely with Legal and Finance.
- Identify and close major upsell and cross-sell opportunities across InPost's full product and service portfolio, including new market entry.
- Act as the senior internal voice for InPost's most important clients, feeding market intelligence and unmet needs into product, commercial, and operational strategy.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder, cross-border issues — coordinating with InPost's international teams (including Group HQ) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Work especially closely with our Chinese-origin ecommerce and marketplace partners, using fluent Mandarin to manage escalations, negotiations, and day-to-day relationship management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
