About the Role
We’re partnered with a leading independent digital agency in London that delivers high-performance paid media strategies for some of the most exciting brands in the Retail, Automotive, and Tech sectors. They are now looking for an experienced Account Director (Paid Social & PPC) to take strategic ownership of key client relationships and drive best-in-class performance across multi-channel campaigns.
This is a senior, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives on strategic thinking, leadership, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction across a portfolio of Retail, Auto, and Tech clients, ensuring campaigns align with business goals and growth targets.
- Oversee multi-channel Paid Social and PPC activity across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, Microsoft Ads, and emerging platforms.
- Act as the senior point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong relationships and driving long-term account growth.
- Guide and mentor Account Managers and Executives, ensuring high-quality execution, QA, and performance optimisation.
- Develop and present quarterly/annual performance reviews, roadmaps, and innovation plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments across creative, data, CRO, and strategy to deliver unified, high-impact media solutions.
- Identify new opportunities for scale, efficiency, and channel expansion through data analysis and testing frameworks.
- Lead strategic input for pitches, proposals, and forecasting for new and existing clients.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform evolution, and emerging technologies to drive innovation across accounts.

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Paid Social and PPC within an agency environment, including senior client management.
- Strong background overseeing campaigns for Retail, Automotive, or Tech brands (ideally a mix).
- Proven ability to develop strategic performance roadmaps and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Confident leading cross-channel strategies, with deep understanding of attribution, data, creative testing, and funnel management.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experienced managing and developing teams.
- Comfortable overseeing budgets from £100k to £1m+ per month.
- Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen.
