Profiles Creative has been tasked to find an exceptional Account Director to lead a highly-sophisticated global portfolio in the pharmaceutical space. Based in London, this permanent, fully-office based role offers a brilliant opportunity to drive high-impact campaigns and experiential projects. As the new Account Director, you will champion the relationship with ambitious healthcare and technology clients. Operating at the heart of the agency's creative collective, you will blend strategic commercial leadership with hands-on project oversight. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams through the lifecycle of live, digital, and hybrid experiences, ensuring that highly regulated, technical content is translated into engaging narratives that captivate global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Senior Client Relationships: Act as the trusted, senior point of contact for key global pharmaceutical and innovation-led accounts, building long-term partnership strategies and driving organic growth.
- Oversee Complex Project Delivery: Direct the strategic development and execution of large-scale physical, hybrid, and digital experiential projects from the initial creative brief through to live onsite production.
- Translate Technical Content: Work closely with client medical and technical teams to translate complex scientific, clinical, and product data into clear, compelling, and compliant project outputs.
- Manage Commercials & Timelines: Take full ownership of substantial account budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines, ensuring profitable and flawless delivery.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with internal creative, production, and technical teams, as well as external AV and exhibition specialists, to ensure world-class quality across every physical and digital touchpoint.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Senior Account Management/AD: Solid agency-side experience managing major accounts, with a critical focus on client retention, commercial growth, and high-level stakeholder management.
- Pharma industry experience: B2B or B2C
- Experiential & Live Events Production: A strong background in delivering complex, large-scale live events, exhibition stands, or immersive experiential activations.
- Technical Content Translation: Proven ability to grasp highly technical, regulated, or scientific subject matter and translate it into clear, creative briefs and public-facing narratives.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional budget management skills with experience overseeing complex project finances and contract negotiations.
- Location & Right to Work: Based in or near London for a hybrid working model (combining home working with collaborative time in our Shoreditch office). Candidates must have the permanent right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice-to-Have
- Practical experience using agency project management tools such as Procim.
