The Role

Our new Account Director will lead a team across strategic premium UK retail accounts, with responsibility for pork across both own label and branded ranges. This is a high-impact role focused on building joint business plans, accelerating volume growth, and delivering strong, sustainable margins.

Working closely with Category, Supply Chain and Finance, you’ll shape long-term category strategies, unlock new opportunities across both retailers, and ensure best-in-class commercial execution. This role suits an experienced commercial leader (e.g. SNAM, Account Lead or similar) ready to take ownership of key accounts.

Please note this role will be site based in Yorkshire, with regular travel to other sites and customer bases.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships with two major premium retailers, owning pork across own label and branded portfolios
  • Develop and deliver joint business plans to drive volume growth and profitability
  • Identify and unlock opportunities across categories, formats and channels
  • Build and execute long-term sales and category strategies in partnership with Category Management
  • Negotiate effectively to deliver strong commercial outcomes across both accounts
  • Analyse the retail and supplier landscape to identify risks and growth opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
