Account Director
Account Director, UK
Location: Remote, UK (Ideally London-based) Employment Type: Full-Time Gross Annual Base Salary: GBP £100,000 – £110,000
Summary
The Account Director is responsible for selling OneStream SaaS solutions within a specified territory. We seek an experienced, proactive sales professional to manage and grow existing customer relationships through subscription renewals, upsells, and cross-selling additional solutions.
This role involves strategic planning and account management across a designated territory, with full ownership within that area. With a focus on retaining and growing the existing solution footprint, the Account Director must also meet—and ideally exceed—assigned quota targets. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in SaaS sales and a proven track record in driving growth within an established account base.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Opportunity Growth
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify new sales opportunities by aligning with customer needs and OneStream’s value proposition.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling: Introduce advanced products/services to meet evolving customer demands, capitalising on existing relationships.
- Pipeline Management: Develop a self-sourced pipeline through direct prospecting and collaboration with internal teams—Customer Success, Business Development, Marketing, and Alliances.
Customer Partnership & Value Delivery
- Business Partner Role: Act as a strategic guide to customers, supporting their business objectives while driving high retention and net revenue growth.
- Solution Advocacy: Clearly articulate the OneStream value proposition through customised business cases, presentations, and customer success stories.
- Enablement & Collaboration: Co-authored business cases with internal teams to align prospects’ objectives with OneStream solutions, advancing sales cycles.
- Motivational Leadership: Role model sales excellence, coaching, and mentoring across Sales teams while ensuring sustained performance.

Account Management & Delivery
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute business plans to meet revenue targets.
- Forecasting Accuracy: Ensure precise tracking of sales opportunities and proactive forecasting.
- Proposal & Agreement Creation: Draft tailored proposals and SaaS agreements to drive conversions.
- Pipeline Growth: Expand current account potential by pursuing one-time operational extensions.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate seamless communication between internal stakeholders (Business Development, Pre-Sales, Customer Success) and external partners (clients, prospects, Alliance Partners).
- Use Case Exploration: Identify opportunities to expand OneStream’s role within existing customer accounts, prioritising high value opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Experience
✔ Minimum 5–10 years in:
- B2B Sales (Enterprise accounts preferred).
- Sales Management or related positions.
- Paid** quote retention/commercial targets with a demonstrated track record.
- SaaS solutions in a consultative capacity, especially for C-level executives.
✔ Key Skills & Abilities:
- Organisational prowess with the ability to prioritise efficiently.
- Strong negotiation skills (renewals, upselling, cross-selling).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce/SFDC preferred).
- Exceptional oral/written communication, including presentation development.
- Self-driven with a weight goals mindset.

Technical Competency
✔ Analysis/Tools: Experience with MS Office, Salesforce, or other project management platforms. ✔ Accountability: Exhibits strong accountability, customer appreciation, and real-time adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications
🔹 Formal Education: University degree or equivalent in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance (relevant fields). 🔹 Technical Insight:
- Industry-specific experience in Software, CPM/EPM, Accounting, or Finance.
- Salesforce proficiency is advantageous.
- Exposure to CPM/EPM ( planning and performance management roles).
