What's happening?
Weber Shandwick is looking for a talented Social Account Director who wants to be part of the Brand practice in our London office.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following Key Attributes
CLIENT SOLUTIONS AND WORK
- Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary senior consultant for clients, driving integrated social and advertising strategies that align with their broader business objectives.
- Partnership Cultivation: Establish enduring trust-based relationships with senior level stakeholders that transcend the immediate scope of work.
- Operational Orchestration: Manage diverse workstreams, budgets, and timelines while mobilising integrated specialists across Creative, Design, and Production to deliver work that pushes boundaries.
- Value Demonstration: Champion a culture of rigorous reporting and analysis to ensure partners clearly see the tangible impact and ROI of our creative and strategic output.

LEADERSHIP AND TALENT MANAGEMENT

COMMERCIAL ACUMEN AND GROWTH
- Commercial Rigour and Efficiency: Oversee programme profitability, precise billing, and strategic resource allocation while partnering with project management to negotiate scopes of work.
- Organic Expansion: Cultivate a sound understanding of clients’ business challenges to proactively identify and convert growth opportunities within existing portfolios.
- Pitch Leadership: Drive new business acquisition and collaborate effectively across practice areas including Brand, Analytics, Corporate and more to deliver compelling integrated pitches.
- Network Integration: Leverage the full breadth of the agency matrix, seamlessly introducing cross practice offerings to address emerging stakeholder needs.
Ideal Experience Profile
- Strong experience within creative, social, media, or PR agencies, underpinned by a deep passion for social media innovations.
- Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and diplomatically negotiating complex requirements.
- Exceptional organisational abilities to prioritise multiple high volume workstreams on time and on budget.
- Resilient management experience, demonstrating the ability to guide teams and take a hands-on approach to ensure success.
