We’re looking for a phenomenal Account Director who can lead a team of driven marketers to help our clients shape and execute their digital marketing visions.

Is this the role for you? You will be an experienced senior marketing leader, either in an agency-side Account Director role or a client-side Marketing Director role with multiple reports. This role will see you managing a team of 3 people, delivering across 4 – 6 clients.

From a people management perspective, you’ll be an exceptional leader, able to support, excite and motivate your team. We have a very flat structure at Create Engage and you’ll be expected to lead from the front, without relying on hierarchy.

Your marketing capability will be second to none. You will have a strong understanding of what effective marketing strategies look like in a B2B setting and be able to confidently explain these to, and execute these for, our clients.

As a rapidly growing agency, we expect everyone to get stuck in and are looking for someone who’s excited by the opportunity this presents. We’re looking for a hands-on Account Director who can go from leading a strategy workshop with board-level clients to reviewing a client’s social media calendar for typos to making suggested improvements to a client’s latest blog.

The work we do is exciting, dynamic and fast-paced. You will be expected to take this in your stride and be able to show a track record of delivering in this type of environment. We’re looking for someone who can take ambiguity, turn it into a solid plan and then work with the team to deliver on that plan – doing so for multiple clients, all at the same time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We have big ambitions and we’re looking for someone who wants to help play a key part in growing our company.

In return, you’ll be given a huge amount of responsibility and accountability. We know you’re great at what you do and we will give you everything you need to be successful, for your career, for Create Engage and for our clients.

If you’re an ambitious, proactive, director level marketeer who relishes a challenge and is prepared to get stuck in it, then this is the role for you.

If you like the comfort of a hierarchy, lots of sign-offs and ‘bag carriers’ to do all of the day to day work for you then this role probably isn’t.

What’s in it for you? We’re building an agency that we all want to work in and that’s as much about the work we deliver as the environment we create for our team. In addition to the chance to rapidly develop your career and deliver great work for great clients, without all the downsides of working in a big agency, you’ll get: A great salary – £45,000 to £55,000 per year depending on experience A chunk of the profits – an annual bonus based on how we do each year Time off to relax – 36 days holiday! Flexible working – 2 days a week in our Bristol office And more time off – on our annual company break
