Job Opportunity: Account Director
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Director based in United Kingdom.
About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic enterprise partnerships and drive revenue growth within a fast-growing technology environment.
As an Account Director, you will manage a portfolio of high-value customers, strengthening relationships while identifying expansion, renewal, and growth opportunities.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping organizations maximize the value of digital engagement solutions.
The position combines strategic account management, consultative selling, negotiation, and business development across complex enterprise accounts.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and long-term partnerships.

Accountabilities
- Manage a portfolio of 7–15 strategic enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and account leader.
- Identify and close expansion, upgrade, and renewal opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Develop detailed account strategies through research, stakeholder mapping, business planning, and opportunity identification.
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, procurement teams, IT teams, and operational users.
- Create and execute account retention and expansion plans by identifying new use cases, increasing adoption, and supporting customer success initiatives.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate implementations, integrations, workshops, webinars, and customer engagement activities.
- Understand customer objectives, challenges, budgets, and technology needs to create compelling business cases and demonstrate value.
- Manage customer requests related to products, compliance, and administrative topics while ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account performance reporting.
- Support executive-level conversations by preparing strategic insights, facilitating introductions, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
- Drive customer advocacy through advisory boards, events, and strategic engagement opportunities.

Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise account management, strategic sales, or consulting within B2B SaaS, technology, or professional services environments.
- Experience managing large enterprise accounts, ideally with contract values ranging from $200K to $2M.
- Strong understanding of complex decision-making processes, buying centers, and enterprise stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, build business cases, negotiate contracts, and drive expansion opportunities.
- Experience selling into demanding industries such as life sciences, financial services, professional services, or technology is highly valued.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyze business challenges, understand customer priorities, and influence senior decision-makers.
- Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and proactively solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to support account strategies and revenue decisions.
- Experience with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or professional engagement solutions is a plus but not required.
