Account Executive
Senior Account Executive – Outbound Mid-Market/Enterprise Sales
£90,000 - £110,000 per annum plus Double OTE (Uncapped)
I'm currently working with a fast-growing fintech company on a mission to make payments simpler and more cost-effective for businesses. By cutting payment costs and passing the savings back to merchants, they're disrupting the payments industry while helping businesses grow sales and build loyalty.
Already gaining strong traction with mid-sized and enterprise retailers across the UK, the business is scaling quickly and is now looking to hire an Account Executive to join the sales team.
Role Overview
This role will suit someone who enjoys:
- Outbound sales
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Managing complex deals from first conversation through to close

You'll be comfortable with:
- Running longer sales cycles
- Engaging multiple stakeholders
- Identifying internal champions to help navigate and progress deals
Key Responsibilities
- Driving outbound sales activity targeting mid-market and enterprise merchants.
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.
- Identifying key decision-makers and building relationships with multiple stakeholders within target businesses.
- Developing internal champions to help progress opportunities through the sales process.
- Building and managing a strong, qualified pipeline while consistently delivering against revenue targets.
- Working closely with internal product and sales teams to refine messaging and value propositions.
- Delivering consultative, solution-based sales conversations focused on operational and financial outcomes for merchants.
- Maintaining accurate:
- CRM records
- Pipeline updates
- Forecasting

What They're Looking For
We'd love it if you have:
- A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally selling into mid-market or enterprise organisations.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS (preferred, though not essential).
- Confidence in managing:
- Longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to:
- Articulate business value
- Demonstrate ROI
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to:
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC (desirable, but not essential).
