About Heka

Employee benefits are broken. They often focus on the wrong things, appeal to only part of a team, or miss the mark entirely. We believe that benefits should add value for everyone, which is why everything we do is designed to make people perform at their best, every day.

For employees, we give limitless choice to own their health and wellbeing journey, with the flexibility to pick and choose monthly what suits them best, whether that's mindfulness, nutrition, movement, a crisis, or a treat.

For companies, we become the home for their existing benefits, making them more visible and better used, while plugging any gaps with our flexible marketplace. That means higher ROI on spend, 94% average engagement, and less admin.

We've had a strong year - 35% growth and counting, and that's no accident. There's a real, need in the market for what we do, and we're the only product doing it the way we do. It's an exciting time to be part of the journey, and we're looking for like-minded individuals who want to help shape what comes next.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales team.

This is a full-cycle role. You'll be responsible for generating and closing your own pipeline, not just solely working inbound leads. That means proactively identifying and outbounding prospective customers, running your own discovery and demo calls, and taking deals all the way through to close. You'll work closely with our Head of Sales, and you'll have real ownership over how you build and manage your leads/prospects from day one.

We're flexible on how you do it. Whether you're a phone person, an email person, or you live on LinkedIn, we don't prescribe your approach. What matters is that it works. You'll have the freedom to build your pipeline the way that plays to your strengths, as long as you're generating results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

That said, this is a sales role and results are non-negotiable. If the numbers aren't there, we'll say so early and work with you to fix it. We want you to win, and we'll be honest if something isn't working.

We're committed to providing a positive working environment with great work-life balance, and in return, we ask that you bring passion, a strong work ethic, and hit the ground running from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

New Business (primary focus)

  • Proactively outbounding to prospective customers through calls, email and LinkedIn to build your own pipeline from scratch
  • Running discovery calls to understand a prospect's benefits challenges, budget and whether Heka is the right fit
  • Delivering tailored product demos that speak to what each prospect actually cares about
  • Building bespoke business cases and proposals, with support from Marketing and our Head of Sales where needed
  • Managing your own pipeline end to end, including negotiation and closing, with accurate forecasting in HubSpot
  • Working closely with Sales & Marketing on inbound leads, MQL’s and qualified opportunities, without relying on them as your primary source of pipeline

General Housekeeping

  • Following processes and keeping HubSpot accurate and up to date, so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Staying on top of the market, our partners and our product so you can speak with confidence and credibility
  • Collaborating with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handover once a deal closes
  • Pitching in on ad-hoc tasks & outbound campaigns across the Sales team. At Heka, everyone gets stuck in.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to have done every part of this role before. Our team will help you settle in. But the following are important:

  • 2-4 years Sales Experience
  • Proven experience in a full-cycle sales role, ideally B2B, where you've generated your own pipeline through outbound activity rather than relying solely on inbound leads, and have a track record of closing your own opportunities
  • Confidence picking up the phone and starting conversations with people who don't yet know who you are
  • Strong discovery and listening skills, you ask good questions and adapt your pitch based on what you hear
  • Resilience and persistence, outbound is a numbers game and you don't take rejection personally
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, from a first cold email through to a closing conversation
