We are working with a well-established Lloyd’s Broker who are looking for an Account Executive to act as a Technical Consultant – Contracts & Wordings to join their Professional Risk team.

About the Role

You will be an experienced Insurance professional with a strong technical background. This role will be working with the team of Business Developers and Account Executives to assist on contract reviews, coverage analysis and policy wordings, supporting clients and internal teams on complex PI risks.

This is a non-sales, advisory position, ideal for those who enjoy the technical side of insurance including contracts, claims and coverage.

  • Reviewing client contracts, appointment documents and collateral warranties
  • Analysing contractual liabilities and aligning these with PI policy coverage
  • Advising on policy wordings, endorsements and potential coverage gaps
  • Supporting clients and internal teams with technical PI expertise
  • Assisting with tenders/RFPs by providing specialist coverage insight
  • Building strong relationships across broking, claims and underwriting teams
  • Ensuring policy wordings remain current and appropriate for client needs

Required Skills

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Professional Indemnity insurance
  • Strong technical knowledge of PI policies, coverage and wordings
  • Experience reviewing contracts, policy documentation or claims scenarios
  • Ability to analyse complex information and communicate clearly to clients
  • Experience within broking, claims or underwriting
