Account Executive


Salary & Contract

  • Salary: Competitive
  • Contract Duration: 6-month contract (inside IR35), with potential for long-term renewal based on KPIs (annual reviews + 10% rate uplift possible)

About the Role

Join Deloitte’s innovative early-stage startup growth team—where ambition meets expertise. In this hands-on Account Executive role, you’ll:

  • Build trusted relationships with founders and C-suite decision-makers
  • Deliver immediate impact, accelerating startup growth from day one
  • Develop cross-functional skills under guidance from seasoned professionals

Key Objectives

  • Grow the qualified pipeline by identifying, engaging, and converting sales opportunities using proven methodologies
  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to deal closure and team handoff
  • Meet revenue targets while maintaining consistency against agreed KPIs
  • Drive upsell/cross-sell revenue with a deep understanding of clients and offerings
  • Mentor and lead a team of SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) to generate high-quality leads

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • Client Account Ownership: Proactively manage accounts to align their usage with budget and business goals
  • Collaboration: Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress and strategic development
  • Reporting: Generate progress updates for clients and senior leaders
  • Pipeline Growth: Identify upsell/cross-sell/renewal opportunities and collaborate with the sales team
  • Team Leadership: Facilitate daily sales meetings, set clear team targets, and encourage accountability
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct ROI data analysis to inform sales strategies

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: ✔ 3–4 years of corporate or agency sales experience ✔ Technical acumen—ability to align solutions with client needs ✔ Proven track record in hitting sales targets and nurturing long-term client relationships ✔ Experience negotiating and executing deals ✔ Broad knowledge of market mapping, psychographics, and entrepreneurial insight ✔ Ability to set and hit KPIs, plus strong multi-tasking capabilities ✔ Proficiency with CRM and Sales Intelligence Platforms ✔ Excellent written/verbal communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Exceptional organization and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

🔹 Past role in corporate sales (preferably high-growth) 🔹 Hands-on experience in early-stage or scaling SaaS businesses 🔹 Strong outbound prospecting and hunting skills 🔹 Background in lean, self-driven pipelines (not dependency on a "handed-off funnel") 🔹 Built a strong professional network over time

  • Location: Based in the UK
  • Work Model: Hybrid—1x weekly London office day, rest remote
  • Hours: Mon-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
