Account Executive – £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience – Deeside, Flintshire

Full Time | 37.5 Hours

MM Packaging Deeside Limited is looking for an Account Executive to join our Internal Sales team.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure orders are managed efficiently from enquiry through to delivery.

The Role

As an Account Executive, you will manage customer requirements while providing a consistently high level of service. You'll coordinate orders, maintain product information, support production planning, and work with multiple departments to ensure customer expectations are met.

This role offers the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships while playing an important part in the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain carton specifications within Dynamics 365.
  • Verify artwork availability before production.
  • Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes and customer forecasts.
  • Generate sales and production orders.
  • Apply customer pricing and obtain spot pricing where required.
  • Attend new job meetings with Production Managers.
  • Coordinate customer deliveries and optimise transport arrangements.
  • Calculate board requirements and raise purchase requests.
  • Monitor aged board and finished goods stock.
  • Maintain board control and carton specification documentation.
  • Produce customer reports, including stock reports.
  • Attend customer meetings on and off site.
  • Resolve customer service queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support colleagues during periods of holiday or absence.
  • Liaise with internal and external European suppliers for outsourced work.
  • Assist the Finance team with invoice queries.
  • Help the team achieve monthly surcharge project targets.

The Person

You'll be organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

You'll also have:

  • A-level education or equivalent.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work independently.
  • A methodical approach with a commitment to following established processes.
