The Role:

The Account Executive is a key role on any team at Grey London. We describe them as the backbone of the team and that’s how crucial they are. In this role, you will primarily support our Consumer Healthcare client as part of WPP Team Vitale, working across a portfolio of leading Oral Health brands and helping the team deliver integrated campaigns across multiple markets.

We are looking for people who are keen to learn, absorb, and get stuck in. If you have a passion for creativity, love working as part of a team, and want to start or continue your career in an agency that puts creativity at the heart of everything, then this role is ideal for you. Please note this is a 12-Month FTC.

In Account Leadership, our main principles are:

  • Creative hunger – we will expect you to be all about the work and help us create the best conditions in which great work will thrive.
  • Partnership – both internally within your team, the department, and the wider agency, as well as building strong relationships with our Clients.
  • Maximum Impact – this is about having the best outcome while being most efficient with time or resources. You’ll learn when to pick up the phone and when to email, for example – and learn how to get the best out of those around you.
  • Energy – this is a crucial aspect of the role. Account Leadership can set and change the tone of any meeting. Positivity, a can-do attitude, willingness to lean in, and help move things along is all part of every day in this role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role is all about keeping our projects moving by supporting on briefs, managing timelines, and maintaining clear client communication. The most successful people in this position are proactive – they don't wait to be asked; they anticipate the team's needs and step up to meet them.

Day-to-day, you’ll be getting involved and leading:

  • Building relationships with key client contacts
  • Working with the team to manage small projects from creative briefing through to design and delivery
  • Supporting the team across briefs, timelines, and client communications to help keep integrated campaigns moving across multiple markets
  • Managing parts of large campaigns, including creative development, production, and delivery
  • Learning to manage budgets, fees, and reconciliations
  • Direct management of interns where applicable
  • Maintaining a positive and collaborative working culture with a great team of creatives, planners, and account people
  • Ensuring all client and internal documents are quality checked, saved, and organised in a way that is self-explanatory for the rest of the team
  • Updating and managing the status docs for the various projects, ensuring all information is up to date and everyone is clear on their actions
  • Adding solid discipline to the day-to-day running of the account – booking meetings, filing documents, opening job numbers, raising POs, etc.

The Accounts:

The account sits within WPP Team Vitale, partnering with a major Consumer Healthcare client across a portfolio of Oral Health brands. It is a busy, fast-moving environment where work often spans multiple markets and requires close coordination between clients, agency teams, and partner agencies. You will work closely with an Account Director and senior members of the Account Leadership team, gaining exposure to the rhythm of a large integrated account while helping to keep the detail, momentum, and communication on track.

We will be looking for someone who:

  • Is positive, energetic, and keen to get stuck in. We love the phrase ‘sponge mode’ for AEs, which describes them being able to soak up experiences, knowledge, and lots of new things to develop a strong foundation which you’ll then build on as you progress in your career. You don’t necessarily have to have experience in the industry (although for one of the roles, it will definitely help), as long as you have an understanding of the role an AE plays in a team and want to be part of a team who make work that the Agency and Clients can be proud of.

The key skills we’d like to see in the role include:

  • Collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proactive and optimistic
  • Organisation
  • Resourcefulness
  • Self-motivated
  • Curious

What can you expect from us?

At Grey, you’ll have the opportunity to work at an incredible studio, with some of the most creative and inspired people in the industry, all whilst getting to grow & shape your career with us. We offer a competitive salary, lots of training, plenty of benefits, and wellbeing perks too.

Inclusion & Belonging

At Grey, we know that the more diverse the input, the more famous and effective the output. Different perspectives spark bigger ideas, braver creativity, and better work – and that starts with how we welcome new talent. We embrace applications from people underrepresented in our industry and value the unique skills, experiences, and viewpoints everyone brings. Our goal is simple: create a place where everyone can belong, and no one feels the need to hide any part of who they are.

That spirit runs through our application process too. If there’s anything – from neurodivergence, to a health condition, or any other circumstance – that might shape your experience, just let our People team know. We’ll work with you to make the adjustments you need to show your best, and we’ll treat whatever you share with respect.
