Account Executive
Account Executive – Northern Europe (UK-Based)
Smart, talented, and motivated individuals are invited to join our fast-growing team, focusing on the Northern Europe region, to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and partnerships in the mid-market segment (< 2,000 employee accounts).
What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in achieving critical customer acquisition and revenue growth goals. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals on new and upsell business, in collaboration with VARs (Value-Added Resellers) and MSPs (Managed Service Providers).
- Building and maintaining an own sales pipeline, ensuring consistent productivity.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including CSRs (Customer Success Representatives), Sales Development Reps (SDRs), Marketing, Engineering, and the Channel team, to deliver sales targets.
- Driving revenue growth alongside a fantastic team because success isn’t accomplished alone.
- Demonstrating a can-do approach to selling Cynet’s threat detection and response solutions (and supporting sales tools) with confidence and energy.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle sales for both new accounts and upsell opportunities.
- Work closely with channel partners (VARs, MSPs, system integrators, and distributors) to drive revenue.
- Develop and execute winning sales strategies, leveraging strong prospecting, outbound activities, and relationship-building.
- Qualify deals effectively, position Cynet’s value proposition, and close with expertise.
- Hit and exceed a financial quota while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Drive growth in the mid-market segment, ensuring pipeline health and revenue targets.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-bearing role.
- Experience selling to channel partners, including resellers, VARs, MSPs, and distributors.
- Knowledge and success in selling cybersecurity solutions (preferably in SMB or mid-market segments).
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A strong hunter mentality, with hands-on experience in:
- Prospecting for fresh accounts.
- Outbound sales activities.
- Building and nurturing pipelines.
- Expertise in engaging and managing SMB and mid-market customers, balancing partner relationships with end-client needs.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to articulate value.
- Self-motivated, proactive approach – able to work independently while driving high-impact results.
- Technical acumen to grasp cybersecurity solutions and their business benefits.
- A solution-oriented mindset, ensuring deals while prioritising customer success.
