Account Executive

Location: Remote with some travel to clients and the office.
Salary: Circa £60k Basic + Uncapped commission

The story so far

Independent pharmacies are the front line of primary care and for years they've been running on tired software from providers who long since stopped listening.

PharmacyX was built by a pharmacist, for pharmacists.

Our Patient Medication Record (PMR) platform is designed around how pharmacies actually work and we've grown to approaching £2m ARR almost entirely through word of mouth and referrals from pharmacies who've become active advocates.

Now we're scaling, and we need people to help us translate that momentum into growth.

About the role

You'll join a small, focused sales team and take ownership of your own book of business, running the full sales cycle from first conversation through to close. You'll have warm leads to work from day one, plus the freedom and responsibility to generate your own opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be supported by an experienced Sales Director, who is a practising pharmacist and still runs his own pharmacy group, who will co-sell alongside you on early deals, a growing marketing function feeding pipeline, and a product team who ship what the market asks for.

About you

You're a proven B2B SaaS salesperson with a track record of closing at volume, not one strategic deal a quarter, but a consistent flow of meaningful mid-market deals month on month.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Have solid B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a high-velocity, mid-market environment
  • Are comfortable running a real pipeline: multiple deals in process, disciplined follow-up, consistent close rates
  • Are as happy generating your own opportunities as working warm leads
  • Are commercially sharp, self-motivated, and confident owning your patch
  • Take ownership of your numbers and hold yourself to high standards
  • Bring the kind of energy that lifts a small team

Experience selling into pharmacies, healthcare, or clinical software would be a real plus, but it isn't essential. We'll teach the product and the market to the right person.

Why now

We're proud of where we are: proven product-market fit, an established team and a real buzz building in the pharmacy market with 300 sites already up and running. Plus, we're bootstrapped and profitable and you'd be joining a business that's stable enough to back you, growing quickly enough to stretch you and small enough for you to genuinely influence how the sales function looks as we scale.
