Account Executive

About Modo Energy

The energy transition is the biggest infrastructure buildout in human history. Modo Energy is the data platform at the centre of it.

We build the benchmarking, forecasting, and valuation tools that the world's most serious energy investors, developers, and operators depend on to make decisions. If a battery gets financed, built, or traded anywhere in the world, there's a good chance Modo data was in the room.

Founded in 2019, we're 100+ people across London, New York, Sydney, and Madrid; AI-native, $30M Series B, and moving fast.

This is a rare chance to join a category-defining company at the moment it's scaling globally.

Shape the Future of the Renewable Energy Transition

The Role

Modo Energy is looking for an ambitious Account Executive with a start-up mindset and a background in SaaS to drive new business growth across the UK market. This is a true hunter role encompassing the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing—with a balanced mix of inbound leads, outbound activities, networking, and industry events.

We’re seeking a high-performing early-career professional hungry for challenges, with a proven track record in closing new business in SaaS environments. This role offers rapid career growth, the opportunity to thrive in a high-growth environment, and recognition for excellence in performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise customers across the energy sector.
  • Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • Lead discovery meetings and deliver compelling product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close high-value subscription agreements and multi-year contracts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and generate additional revenue.
  • Represent Modo at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

About You

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
