Account Executive, EMEA – Comms & Media
Location: London (office-based)

As a newly created Sales Account Executive in the EMEA region, you’ll have a transformative opportunity to drive Hansen’s ambitious growth plans in the Telcos & Media vertical. Your responsibilities will include:
- Becoming a core contributor to our global growth strategy
- Owning the EMEA regional sales pipeline
- Expanding Hansen’s footprint in Telcos and Media markets
- Generating high-value contracts and building sustainable client relationships

What You’ll Do
- Lead Strategic Sales: Direct the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, outreach, and product demos to negotiation, deal closure, and client onboarding.
- Drive Market Expansion: Proactively identify and initiate engagement with new organisations within the Telco and Media sectors.
- Build Client Relationships: Establish long-term connections with customers, industry leaders, and strategic partners.
- Negotiate Commercially: Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms, and finalise value-driven agreements.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with teams including Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Represent Hansen Globally: Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, championing our innovativeness.
- Manage CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records on prospective and existing clients, generate insights for management, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyse Markets: Conduct thorough research on market trends, competition, and opportunities to refine outreach strategies.

What You Bring
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions, preferably to customers in the Telcos and Media industries.
- Proven ability to close large deals (€1m+ in transaction value).
- Background in consulting or strategic client project delivery welcomed.
Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to customer pain points.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset capable of utilising data insights for business success.
- Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
Desirables:
- Fluency in French, Spanish, or German.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA is advantageous.
