ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - PAID MEDIA

We work across a mix of exciting sectors, and now we’re looking for an account executive to join our growing media team in Cardiff supporting key accounts.
🚀 What You’ll Do
This role is all about relationship-building, campaign delivery, and learning fast. You’ll be part of a close-knit team working on high-profile clients – and you’ll be trusted to make your mark early on.
Your day-to-day could look like this:
- Ensure the smooth running of your client team supporting the account manager, director, and other members of the team
- Source crucial information and provide organizational excellence to ensure flawless planning and execution of media campaigns
- Create proposals and reports in PowerPoint and contribute towards visually appealing media plans using Excel
- Attend meetings and provide a clear outline of deliverables thereafter, as well as presenting ideas/outcomes to clients where appropriate
- Understand and contribute towards recommendations to maximize success for your client
- Identifying opportunities via media monitoring and active networking
- Liaise with key stakeholders (publishers, creative agencies, internal teams) to ensure key campaign milestones are reached and the client is fully informed of the status of their account
- Manipulate, analyse, and interpret data in Excel
- Deliver a high standard of data reporting based on working with both campaign data and existing data sources – delivered in both written and verbal format
- Develop your understanding of healthcare systems, pharmaceutical advertising, and therapy areas that are relevant to your client

💼 What You Bring
Ideally, you will have some understanding of paid-media, digital media, or general marketing and advertising. Experience within health and/or pharmaceutical advertising and marketing would be advantageous, though not essential (training will be provided).
You’ll also bring:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly
- Excellent numeracy skills and accuracy
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Commercial awareness
- Initiative and ability to identify issues and develop solutions
- Creativity and ability to generate ideas
- Good organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Desire to learn about all areas of the business
- Ability to handle a busy workload, prioritize, and be flexible
- Good level of proficiency with required IT packages: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
- Multi-lingual would be advantageous
