Account Executive
Account Executive (Northern Europe, Mid-Market Focus)
Location: UK (Remote/Natural Headquarters) Sector: Cybersecurity Contract Type: Permanent
We’re searching for driven, talented, and adaptable Account Executives to join our rapidly expanding UK team, specialising in delivering growth across Northern Europe’s mid-market segment (organisations with fewer than 2,000 employees).
About the Role
As an Account Executive in our B2B mid-market team, you’ll be at the core of accelerating customer acquisition and revenue growth. Your focus will be on:
- Building and owning a high-performing pipeline
- Collaborating with VARs, MSPs, and internal teams (SDRs, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success Managers, and Channel) to deliver outstanding results
- Mastering the full sales cycle for new accounts, upselling, and cross-selling within your region, all while meeting aggressive financial targets
To succeed, you’ll need a “can-do” mindset, exceptional outbound sales drive, and the ability to leverage cutting-edge sales tools to champion the Cynet solution. Your hard work, resilience, and energy will directly impact revenue—and our ability to protect more businesses from evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Ownership:
- Develop, prioritise, and nurture a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Execute proven lead qualification frameworks to identify and maximise mid-market opportunities.

Channel Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and distributors to co-sell and upsell Cynet’s unified threat detection and response platform.
- Align with internal teams to ensure seamless, impactful customer journeys from first contact to post-sale success.

Sales Execution:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including identifying pain points, communicating value propositions, and closing deals.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, relationship management, presentations, and negotiations across SMBs and mid-market enterprises.
- Meet and exceed quota targets while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Hands-on experience selling cybersecurity solutions to mid-market organisations
- Experience partnering with channel entities, such as:
- Resellers
- VARs (Value-Added Resellers)
- MSPs (Managed Service Providers)
- Distributors
- Hunter mentality: Exceptional prospecting and outbound sales capabilities
- Ability to generate new business and qualify relationships effectively
- Expertise in SMB/mid-market customer segments, including:
- Discerning decision-making stakeholders
- Tailoring value-driven conversations to their security needs
- Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding verbal/presentation skills paired with persuasive negotiation tactics
- Self-driven & Results-Focused: Thrives with independence, thrives under performance pressures, and initiates action without micromanagement
- Industry Awareness: Knowledge of security challenges faced by growing businesses is advantageous (not mandatory)
