Account Executive, Enterprise Field – Alteryx

Our Account Executive, Enterprise Field team is responsible for driving analytics-led digital transformation through high-potential customers and prospects. This role requires a mix of strategic prospecting, relationship management, and consultative selling to C-suite and cross-functional business leaders. You will craft trusted advisor-level partnerships, position Alteryx as the preferred analytics platform, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Named Account Prospecting

    • Identify and engage with high-potential accounts across multiple business functions.
    • Develop a targeted outreach strategy to qualify and advance opportunities.
  • Building Relationships

    • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer pain points, processes, and strategic goals.
    • Engage with multiple buying personas, from C-level executives to functional leads.
    • Ask the right questions and deliver unique value in every interaction.
    • Collaborate with Alliances, Sales Engineering, Value Engineering, and Customer Success to align efforts.
  • Articulating Value

    • Clearly connect customer business objectives (functional and corporate) with Alteryx solutions.
    • Demonstrate how Alteryx delivers AI-ready analytics, automation, and scalability.

  • Effective Account Coordination

    • Ensure seamless collaboration between pre-sales and post-sales teams (e.g., Sales Engineering, Customer Success).
    • Leverage industry expertise to accelerate deals and deepen customer engagement.
  • Driving Sales Strategy

    • Develop account plans grounded in customer strategy, priorities, and organisational structure.
    • Tailor engagement approaches to ensure revenue targets and balanced pipeline growth.
  • Pipeline Planning & Growth

    • Actively manage and expand perpetual pipelines for sustained deal flow.
    • Work with Marketing, Channel Partners, and Alliances to nurture and convert opportunities.
  • Demonstrating Alteryx Proficiency

    • Showcase deep knowledge of the Alteryx platform and ecosystem.
    • Articulate the unique value proposition of Alteryx relative to competitors.
  • Building Trust

    • Establish credibility by aligning with customer requirements and offering expertise at every stage—a trusted advisor mindset.
    • Highlight the value of counsel, solutions, and implementation support.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in software/technology companies.
  • Experience selling to financial services (FSI), retail, or pharma industries is highly desired.
  • Proven ability to identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to and influencing C-level executives within Global 2000 companies.
  • Strong track record of consultative/service-led sales, including multi-year subscription and enterprise deals.
  • Exceptional time and people management skills to align internal/external resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics industry trends and competitor landscapes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
