This is a growth-focused sales role responsible for expanding revenue as we launch and expand events in Europe and beyond, as well as identifying strategic opportunities for account growth and onboarding new business. You will be a core member of the launch team building long-term partnerships within the biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industry, helping clients maximize their investment across events, digital media, lead generation, and integrated marketing solutions.

As our Account Executive – Growth Sales, you'll support Questex's success by:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio within the Fierce Life Sciences portfolio, with a special focus on our launch events in Europe and beyond.
  • Focus on building a new client list for a new event series in Europe, and other new products as they are developed.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue and client engagement across events, digital, and integrated marketing platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities that align with client business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, present campaign & sponsorship recommendations, and develop customized solutions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce, ensuring strong account planning and revenue visibility month-to-month and quarter-to-quarter.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Marketing, Event, and Customer Success teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize retention.
  • Attend and support sales efforts at our Fierce Pharma events, and carry out business development efforts at competing or related trade shows and events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
