Job Title: Account Executive (12-Month FTC)

Location: Liverpool (Speke)
Salary: £33,619 (pro-rata)
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 12 months, full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 4:45pm)

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Account Executive to join our growing FRC team on a 12-month contract.

If you're confident building relationships, enjoy speaking with customers and have a passion for identifying opportunities that help businesses grow, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll become a trusted partner to your customers, taking time to understand their business, challenges and future needs. Through regular communication, you'll build strong relationships, uncover opportunities and convert them into sales.

Working closely with the Sales Team Manager, Customer Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Operations and Marketing teams, you'll play a key role in delivering sales growth while helping us achieve our social mission.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Growth

  • Managing and developing relationships with existing customer accounts
  • Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities across our full product range
  • Generating quotations and converting opportunities into confirmed orders
  • Achieving individual sales targets and supporting overall business growth
  • Building strong pipelines and maintaining regular customer contact
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and future opportunities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Acting as the main point of contact for assigned customers
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships that encourage repeat business
  • Proactively identifying new contacts and stakeholders within customer organisations
  • Ensuring customers receive information, quotations and support promptly
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve customer issues effectively

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintaining accurate customer records within CRM systems
  • Monitoring account performance and sales activity
  • Producing reports on customer spending and contract performance
  • Forecasting future sales opportunities and customer growth
  • Ensuring all customer interactions are accurately recorded

Collaboration & Sales Support

  • Work closely with Customer Account Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure seamless account management
  • Liaise with Operations teams to communicate customer requirements and support successful delivery
  • Support the development of new sales opportunities through quote preparation, consultations and sample requests
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide relevant customer communications and information

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • At least 3 years' experience in an Account Executive, Account Management or customer-facing sales role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing customer accounts and developing business opportunities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work towards targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent

Desirable

  • Experience within the housing sector
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience within furniture, interiors, white goods or a related industry
  • Full UK driving licence
