Our Mission

The greatest ideas need the world’s best teams. At Smart Working, we connect great companies with exactly the right AI-fluent tech talent from around the globe and embed them into client teams long term. This is elite talent as a service, and getting it right builds a smarter, fairer world of work.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will own the entire sales cycle from generating pipeline through to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Working closely with senior decision-makers, you will identify hiring challenges, understand business objectives, and deliver long-term talent solutions that create value for clients.

This role requires someone who can independently manage opportunities, maintain momentum throughout the sales process, and apply a structured sales methodology to improve win rates. You will be responsible for accurate forecasting, CRM management, and building lasting commercial relationships while contributing to business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and self-sourced pipeline through to close.
  • Sell the model: place vetted, AI-fluent engineers into client teams and expand those accounts over time.
  • Run structured discovery: understand client hiring challenges, team gaps, and business goals.
  • Manage complex deals: navigate multiple stakeholders and build strong commercial business cases.
  • Drive pipeline progression: maintain momentum across every stage and remove blockers.
  • Apply MEDDPICC: qualify deals properly and increase win rates.
  • Own your data: maintain CRM (HubSpot) hygiene and accurate forecasting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
