About Balo
Balo is transforming how organisations access Salesforce expertise.
Instead of relying on traditional consulting engagements, Balo connects businesses with a vetted network of experienced Salesforce professionals for on-demand advisory, implementation and project delivery. From strategic consultations to managed project execution, we help organisations solve complex challenges faster, with less risk and greater flexibility.
Since launching in March 2025, over 300 Salesforce customers across 23 countries use Balo with a network of over 250 vetted Salesforce Experts speaking 18 languages.
Following strong growth in ANZ, we're expanding into the EMEA region and are looking for our first commercial hire in the region. Preferably based in Dublin (Ireland) but open to other locations.
The Opportunity
This isn't a traditional Account Executive role.
As Balo's first commercial employee in EMEA, you'll help establish our presence, build relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem, generate new business and shape how we scale across EMEA. You'll have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence our go-to-market strategy from day one.
If you're looking for structure, established territories and large support teams, this probably isn't the right role.
If you're excited by building something meaningful from the ground up, we'd love to speak with you.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute Balo's EMEA go-to-market strategy.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and partnerships.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
- Develop relationships with Salesforce customers, partners and the wider ecosystem.
- Represent Balo at Salesforce events and community meetups.
- Work closely with founders to refine messaging, pricing and sales processes.
- Provide market feedback to influence product and platform development.
- Help establish Balo as a trusted brand across EMEA.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
