Business Development Executive

Location: Nuneaton
Salary: £35,000 Basic + £35,000-£45,000 OTE

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Nuneaton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is eager to develop their skills, build relationships with clients, and contribute to business growth.

You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective customers, and helping to drive revenue through outbound sales activity. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Qualify leads and book appointments for sales discussions.
  • Understand customer requirements and present relevant solutions.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer information.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and follow up on enquiries.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident speaking with new people and building relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
