Business Development Executive

Location: Walsall

Salary: £35,000 Basic + £35,000-£45,000 OTE

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in sales, whether you already have sales experience or come from a customer-facing background.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting the company's continued growth. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
  • Contact potential customers via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Qualify leads and identify customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Arrange and attend client meetings.
  • Manage and update the CRM with accurate customer information.
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximize opportunities.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence engaging with prospective customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another customer-facing role would be advantageous but is not essential.
