Account Executive
Account Executive – Transport Data Remote/Hybrid

Today, Tracsis is a leading provider of software, hardware, data analytics/GIS, and services for the rail, traffic data, and wider transport industries. The Group has c.550 permanent employees, serving a growing customer base from offices in the UK, Ireland, and the US.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially-driven Transport Data Account Executive to help expand our presence across the UK, develop new customer relationships, and create opportunities that deliver value across our wider transport portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys opening new doors, building strategic partnerships, and working at the intersection of transport, analytics, technology, and commercial growth. You'll play a key role in driving new business while leading and supporting an established account management team, helping customers unlock the power of transport data and digital solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive New Business Growth
- Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities across the UK transport market.
- Introduce organisations to Tracsis' Transport Data capabilities, including:
- Traffic surveys
- Origin-destination studies
- Digital ANPR
- Active travel analytics
- FlowIQ
- Wider data insight services
- Explore new sectors and adjacent markets where transport data can support:
- Planning
- Infrastructure
- Mobility
- Environmental
- Operational decision-making
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities that contribute to Transport Data and wider Professional Services growth.
- Develop relationships with:
- Local authorities
- Transport bodies
- Infrastructure providers
- Engineering consultancies
- Private sector organisations
Building Strategic Customer Partnerships
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at:
- Operational
- Technical
- Senior decision-making levels
- Understand customer priorities and challenges, and work collaboratively to identify the most effective solutions.
- Support long-term account growth, customer retention, and recurring revenue opportunities.
- Act as a commercial lead for Transport Data opportunities and strategic customer engagements.

Leading and Developing a Team
- Provide commercial leadership to the Transport Data account structure.
- Line-manage and support the development of Traffic Key Account Managers.
- Create an environment where collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement thrive.
- Support performance development, coaching, and knowledge sharing across the team.
Working as One Tracsis
- Collaborate with colleagues across:
- Commercial
- Product
- Delivery
- Marketing
- Technical teams
- Work closely with GeoIntelligence and other business areas to:
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Enable integrated customer engagements
- Help customers access the full breadth of Tracsis capabilities, products, and services.
Owning Commercial Performance
- Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Support bids, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Monitor:
- Market trends
- Competitor activity
- Customer needs to help shape future growth opportunities.
- Promote sustainable recurring revenue solutions, including:
- Subscription
- Platform-based offerings
