Account Executive
Account Executive, UKI
Location Remote, UK (Ideally London-based)
Employment Type Full-time
Base Salary GBP £80,000 – £100,000 (Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply)
About the Role
An Account Executive drives new business growth, focusing on net-new customer acquisition in untapped markets. This role requires a strategic mindset, consultative sales skills, and the ability to build and close high-value enterprise deals. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Business Development, and Strategic Alliances to expand OneStream’s SaaS platform adoption, targeting commercial and mid-market clients with strong financial transformation needs.
The primary focus is on new logo growth, though occasional collaboration with existing accounts may occur.
Key Responsibilities

New Business Development
- Strategically prospect, engage, and close net-new commercial and mid-market accounts.
- Excel in outbound outreach, partner referrals, and nurturing marketing leads to drive pipeline.

Account Expansion
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding evolving customer needs and aligning OneStream’s solutions.

Pipeline Growth
- Generate and maintain a healthy pipeline through self-sourced efforts and collaboration with Customer Success, Business Development, Marketing, and Strategic Alliances.

Salesforce Management
- Ensure data accuracy and hygiene in Salesforce records for forecasting and cross-department collaboration.

Sales Execution & Proposal Development
- Prepare client-specific business cases, RBFIs, and SaaS agreements.
- Delivery of compelling presentations (virtual and in-person) to articulate OneStream’s unique value proposition.

Achieve Sales Targets
- Balance new logo acquisition and existing account expansion to meet or exceed quotas.

Customer Partnerships
- Act as a strategic consultative partner, delivering actionable insights and fostering long-term customer success.

Opportunity Management & Forecasting
- Accurately track, forecast, and initially integrate cross-functional stakeholders into deal progress.

Needs Assessment & Solution Alignment
- Conduct discovery sessions, research, and product demonstrations to match OneStream’s offerings with client challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a net-newC customer acquisition focus.
- (Less experienced but high-potential candidates will also be considered.)
- Proven track record of quota achievement through complex enterprise deals.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills and lead conversion proficiency.
- Hunter mindset with a discipline-first approach to follow-ups and pipeline development.
- Experience articulating solution value to C-level executives.
- Expertise in sales methodologies like MEDD(x)C/Challenger Sales.
- Business acumen with ability to strategically align solutions to client pain points.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals at a high velocity.
- Collaboration expertise across Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product, and Business Development.

- Regular office presence preferred, valuing in-person engagement for trust and alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- University Degree/Certification in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in SaaS sales, particularly in CPM/EPM or financial software spaces.
