Account Executive in Science Marketing (6 months contract)
Want to see how a scientific and creative agency works from the inside? We're offering a six-month fixed-term role for someone who wants to find out, supporting the delivery of marketing for clients in pharma, life sciences, and speciality chemicals.
At Notch, we bring science and creativity together. From our home in central Manchester's Bond building, a Grade II listed space redesigned for collaboration, we provide B2B brand and marketing services to our clients across the US, EU and UK. Our teams of strategists, writers, creatives and account handlers work side by side to deliver work that makes a big impact for our clients in scientific industries and inspires audiences.
You'll be based in the account management team. That's where the day-to-day work sits, and where we need the help. The role also gives you visibility of how content, creative, digital, and strategy work flows through the agency, and if one of those pulls you in and there's room for you to get involved, we'll listen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
