About the Role
At Alteryx, we continuously search for top enterprise sales talent to bolster our growing team. Your Enterprise Field team (formerly Named Account Directors) drives analytics-led digital transformation in our customers and high-growth opportunities by:
- Prospecting, qualifying, and closing high-value deals
- Building trusted advisor-level relationships with global Fortune 2000 organizations
- Positioning Alteryx as the leading platform for analytics innovation
Your role will focus on curating strategic relationships that yield significant enterprise growth. Choose from options that match your expertise:

Responsibilities
Account Growth Strategies
- Proactive Named Account Prospecting – Identify and uncover untapped opportunities within high-potential, global enterprises.
- Deep-Dive Relationships – Gain insight into organizational challenges and build trust-based partnerships across business functions.
Consultative Sales Execution
- Align Alteryx’s solutions with business objectives using a customer-centric approach
- Present and converse on data analytics trends, ROI, and digital transformation strategies
High-Impact Enterprise Strategies
- Collaborate with Alliances, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to create tailored engagement plans
- Transform small wins into long-term perpetual revenue streams through Subscription models
- Drive enterprise cloud and managed services sales through persistent growth initiatives
Proven Execution Skills
- Develop tailored account plans aligned to deliver annual revenue goals
- Assess pipeline health, revenue potential, and customer cyclical trends to forecast growth
Key Tools & Platforms
- Proficiency in Alteryx desktop & cloud architecture (Configured for 2024+ version)
- Strong knowledge of data analytics industry standards and competitor offerings

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience within a software/technology sector
- Track record of selling multi-year, subscription-based services to global 2000 corporations
- Proven ability to diagnose and quickly close quick-win deals, alongside navigating long, complex sales cycles
- Significant C-level advisory expertise and consensus-building experience among cross-functional teams
- Business acumen: Demonstrable success with data & analytical use cases and their results for customers
Preferred Skills
- History of consultative, value-led sales engagements
- Prior exposure to genuine self-service or AI-driven platforms
- Proficiency with *Alteryx tools as concrete assets boost alignment with our strategy
- No degree required—but if you have one, B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience is welcome
