About the Role
Astute Payroll by Deel
As an Account Executive (AE): **Marketing & Management (MM)**focused on Astute Payroll’s UK staffing and temporary recruitment sectors, you’ll:
- Build B2B relationships across multiple stakeholder levels in one of the fastest-growing digital work ecosystems.
- Become a commercial pillar for staffing companies and vendors, driving revenue growth by winning new contracts and ensuring seamless client expansion.
This isn’t just role with sales targets—it’s your opportunity to shape a market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of prospective or existing accounts, nurturing relationships across account teams, legal, compliance, or end-users.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities, ensuring continuous business expansion in the UK staffing landscape.
- Execute full-cycle sales—from prospecting (cold outreach, networking) to negotiations and closing new deals.
- Deliver tailored, insight-driven proposals, messaging solutions across different aspects of payroll/use (compliance, hiring workflows, visa management).
- Maintain an active pipeline by tracking leads, managing CRM data (activities, opportunities, updates), and previewing client needs with product & operational leaders.
- Monigate collaboration with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), CSMs, Product, Marketing, legal, and Sales Support teams to align on client requirements.
- Generate accurate revenue forecasts and align quarterly targets—leveraging insights to upsell/cross-sell products
- Become a voice of the client in product roadmaps and market trends, steering product development based on feedback.

Job Requirements
Successful AE Candidates
- Proven B2B sales experience—whether in oil & gas, construction, compliance, or recruitment segmentation, but not limited. Expected revenue targets will vary based on experience level.
- Exceptional performance history—accumulated revenue streaks over multiple quarters with median target-to-close ratios.
- Strong communication, convincing presentation skills, and forceful negotiation tactics—especially with technical or multi-faceted commercial teams.
- Adaptability to high-growth environments with a growth mindset, willing to maximise revenue potential through challenges and opportunities.
- Mastery of sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, Customer-Centric Selling) and hands-on expertise using CRM systems for forecasting & pipeline executions.
- Preference for candidates with brief staffing industry experience, though not mandatory.
