Account Executive - Automotive Sector
(SaaS & Market Intelligence)
UK | Hybrid (London) £50,000 basic + £20,000-£25,000 OTE
A global provider of market intelligence and advisory solutions is expanding its UK commercial team and is looking to hire an Account Executive to drive growth within the automotive sector. This is a high-impact role focused on selling data, insights, and consulting services to senior stakeholders across manufacturers, OEMs, and supply chain organisations.

The Opportunity
This role focuses on selling subscription-based research, consulting services, and access to an advanced data platform into the automotive sector. You will manage a full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing, engaging senior stakeholders across strategy, operations, and R&D functions. Sales cycles typically range from 6-8 weeks, with deal values spanning from approximately $35,000 up to $200,000. With support from marketing and international business development teams, alongside a strong product offering and brand credibility, this is an opportunity to build a significant revenue stream within a high-value vertical.
What You'll Be Doing
- Selling market intelligence subscriptions, research reports, and consulting services
- Generating new business through outbound activity and self-sourcing
- Running discovery calls, product demonstrations, and presentations
- Engaging senior stakeholders across strategy, operations, and R&D
- Managing full sales cycles through to negotiation and close
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline within the automotive sector

What They're Looking For
Experience Requirements:
- 3-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within SaaS, data, or subscription-based services
- Experience selling into the automotive sector required
- Strong background in new business acquisition and full sales cycle management
- Comfortable with outbound selling, demos, and closing
Character:
- Driven, confident, and commercially focused
- Self-starter with high levels of autonomy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Package
- £50,000 basic salary
- £20,000-£25,000 OTE (paid quarterly)
- Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in London office
