The Opportunity

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an individual with a professional services background. You may have trained in legal, accountancy, or another financial services discipline, and you are looking to apply your skills in a new, challenging environment.

To succeed, you will embody the following:

- Client-Centric: You have experience engaging with clients, suppliers, or partners in a professional setting and understand the importance of building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Organisational: You are proficient in Word and Excel, with exceptional administrative and organisational skills. You are ready to take ownership of the day-to-day administration that underpins our success, ensuring client deliverables are met with precision.

Core Duties
- Managing Policy Renewals: Coordinating employee benefit policy renewals with product providers and clients in a timely, organised, and professional manner.
- Handling Queries: Working directly with and supporting the consulting team by dealing with day-to-day client and product provider queries.
- Report Writing: Undertaking reviews and writing clear, accurate reports to be presented to clients.
- Client Meetings: Attending client meetings (both in person and virtually) to provide support, take notes, and help present findings.
- Claims & Underwriting: Managing medical claims and assisting with medical underwriting processes on behalf of clients.
- Data Analysis: Reviewing, analysing, and organising employee, company, and benefits data, often using spreadsheets (Excel) and internal systems.
- Building Relationships: Developing and nurturing professional relationships with product providers to fully understand their propositions and how they benefit clients.
- Staying Informed: Keeping up to date with industry developments and changes in legislation that impact clients, ensuring the team remains compliant and knowledgeable.
- Managing Your Own Workload: Efficiently prioritising tasks from multiple sources (internal and external) to ensure all client and internal deliverables are met on time, while also proactively supporting other team members when they are busy.
