Account Executive – Physical Security (Public Sector) | UK/Denmark/Romania

About the Role

We’re recruiting an experienced Account Executive with a physical security specialisation to spearhead engagements within our Public Sector Team. Your mission? To drive growth, build strategic relationships, and position Dataminr’s cutting-edge AI capabilities as the gold standard for organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales & Growth: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets while executing proven sales campaigns and campaigns.
  • Build Strategic Pipeline: Develop a robust pipeline through prospecting, partnerships, and networking to secure high-value opportunities.
  • Foster Client Partnerships: Nurture and retain relationships across sensitive public sector stakeholders, expertly handling complex enterprise sales.
  • Deepen Customer Insights: Uncover use case needs, decision-making processes, and budget cycles to tailor pitch strategies.
  • Leverage Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitors and position Dataminr’s AI solutions to outperform industry benchmarks in physical security & situational awareness.
  • Shape Product Vision: Provide actionable feedback to engineering and product teams to improve and refine our AI stack for Government clients (if applicable in partner/enterprise sales).

What We Bring to the Table

Essential Requirements

✅ 7+ years of relevant experience in government public sector sales, AM, or partner management. ✅ Strong preference given to: Ex-police officers or government operatives with deep sovereign expertise (privacy & critical infrastructure focus is preferred for physical security role and partnerships). ✅ Proven ability to build relationships at all levels (mid-management through C-suite) to expand future business pipelines. ✅ Fluent in English, with Polish as the regional language of focus (highly desirable for central CU regions). ✅ Ability to communicate effectively in polish for client outreach; additional European languages add huge potential for maja balances.

Highly Desirable

🔹 Commercial sales background specifically within the public sector (civilian intelligence, governmental security operations). 🔹 Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, slow-moving public sector processes (bids, grants, security protocols). 🔹 Proven record of exceptional results—think: top performers who pushed boundaries and stood out in prior roles.
