THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and consultative Account Executive to lead the full sales cycle and drive new business growth across our UK Central Government Accounts. This critical role focuses on transitioning clients from transactional relationships to value-driven partnerships, requiring discipline, predictability, and a long-term vision. The successful candidate will champion innovative solutions and foster strong customer and partner relationships, directly impacting our business and revenue objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive business growth by leading the full enterprise sales cycle, from strategic prospecting to consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Apply solution and consultative selling to uncover business challenges using data and co-create tailored solutions focused on measurable customer outcomes.
- Develop multi-level, trusted relationships to secure and sustain executive access and engagement for maximum enterprise impact on key accounts.
- Execute strategic account management and account expansion (cross-sell/upsell/new logos) by developing and maintaining multi-year plans for high-value customers.
- Ensure operational excellence and consistent execution by managing sales systems, leveraging tools, and proactively collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Demonstrated success in selling to Public Sector - Central Government accounts, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- A strong 'sales hunter' mentality, with a relentless focus on proactive new logo acquisition and identifying high-potential opportunities.
- Expertise in strategic account management disciplines, including deep account planning and relationship building across all organizational levels.
- A robust background in consultative selling, leading discussions with unique insights and building business cases tied to measurable outcomes (ROI, TCO).
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and drive account expansion by identifying white space and effectively leveraging channel partner relationships.
- A deep understanding of the storage industry, cloud computing, and modern data center architecture.
- High level of motivation and intrinsic drive, including emotional intelligence, strategic mindset, and accountability for delivering results.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Staines-Upon-Thames, or London, UK office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
