Company Overview

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Position Overview

As a Specialized Account Executive – Simulation, you'll drive specialized SaaS and Hybrid SaaS software revenue opportunities within a strategic portfolio of target accounts. Working in partnership with Account Orchestrators and the broader account team, you'll own the domain-specific sales strategy for simulation solutions, building trusted customer relationships and delivering value-based solutions that address customers' most complex engineering challenges.

You'll work with autonomy and self-direction to develop account strategies, lead domain-specific pursuits, and mentor junior sales team members. This role combines consultative selling with strategic account planning, where you'll guide customers through their buying journey and position simulation solutions as critical to their product development success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute domain-specific account strategies for target accounts, identifying land-and-expand opportunities and driving software revenue targets
  • Manage a portfolio of Named Accounts and new logo prospects, prioritizing opportunities to maximize revenue and profit potential
  • Collaborate with Account Orchestrators, Customer Outcomes, and Customer Success teams to coordinate sales activities and drive faster adoption
  • Lead prospecting and pipeline management activities, qualifying leads and building influence maps within target organizations
  • Conduct discovery with customers to understand requirements, assess solution fit, and translate value statements into opportunity-specific propositions
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts; address commercial and legal issues proactively before formal negotiations
  • Own and manage accurate forecasts in Salesforce, analyzing pipeline trends, conversion rates, and win/loss data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Mentor junior sales team members and share knowledge around customers, solutions, and industry trends within the sales organization
  • Maintain integrity of Siemens reputation, uphold compliance and quality requirements, and undertake required personal administration

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
