Account Executive, SMB
🎧 👋 SMB Account Executive – Sitemate – London**
Overview
The SMB Account Executive will join Sitemate’s SMB team, owning inbound-qualified opportunities from first engagement through to close. This role involves:
- Driving momentum across a mix of high-intent and lower-intent inbound leads through structured discovery, tailored demos, and consistent deal progression
- Retaining ownership of each new customer for 6 months post-sale
- Identifying opportunities for cross-sell and license expansion in partnership with Customer Success Managers (CSMs)

- Salary (OTE):
- Base: £44k (including pension)
- Commission: £34k
- Total: £78k (including pension)

Daily Responsibilities
✔ Sales cycle management:
- Run multiple discovery calls, demos, follow-ups, and commercial discussions
- Maintain pipeline in Salesforce: update stages, log next steps, and multi-thread accounts ✔ Collaboration:
- Work with SDRs, CSMs, and Account Managers (AMs) for seamless handovers
- Align with technical stakeholders to shape cross-sell and expansion opportunities ✔ Accountability:
- Manage individual quota and pace
- Prioritise accounts (new business vs. expansion) for commercial and business growth
