CAI is structured into three business units:

This role falls under the Graphic Communications unit, which serves the global print and packaging industry—including commercial printers, packaging manufacturers, promotional print providers, sign and display manufacturers, and in-plant print operations. Our solutions enable customers to manage complex production environments, boost operational visibility, and drive profitable, high-quality outputs.


The Role

You will lead all sales activities for SMB companies in the UK, focusing on the following market segments:

  • Commercial Print
  • Publication
  • Mailing
  • Super Wide Format

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Senior Regional Director (EMEA), managing both existing and new accounts within the defined territory.
  • Driving cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with other Graphic Communications sales teams.
  • Leveraging internal resources (Marketing, Engineering) to achieve sales targets and create business impact.
  • Implementing Graphic Communications sales, marketing, and support strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the product, industry, and competitive landscape through internal certifications and continuous learning.
  • Developing a specialised vertical market expertise in assigned sectors.
  • Providing accurate territory forecasting and reporting via Salesforce.
  • Facilitating demos with Technical Sales Specialists for customer engagement.
  • Promoting the brand creatively and entrepreneurially to solidify Graphical Communications as a market leader.
  • Exceeding revenue targets while staying within set budgets.
  • Managing discounts to align with business objectives.
  • Strengthening partner relationships, ensuring a dominant market share in the UK.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Completing the full sales cycle: prospect identification, qualification, discovery, ROI analysis, proposal creation, and closing.
  • Managing the full customer lifecycle—from initial engagement to long-term retention.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales and marketing within SaaS, software, or ERP, preferably in the manufacturing or print industry (highly preferred).
  • Proven success working with SMB buying committees (Director to Ownership/C-Suite) to influence decisions.
  • Strong technical proficiency in software systems to effectively engage with clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills—collaboration and teamwork are key.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Competent market knowledge and an eye for emerging industry trends.
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills, with a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Fluency in the sales process, including prospecting, cold calling, ROI assessment, and proposal development.
  • Experience handling complex technical sales cycles.
  • A preference for multi-lingual skills (French or German considered an advantage).
