This role sits at the forefront of expanding Mark43’s presence in a new and evolving market. You will help bring modern, cloud-based technology to police forces and public safety organisations, shaping how they operate and serve their communities. This is a unique opportunity to define a market, influence adoption of next-generation policing technology, and drive meaningful impact across the UK public safety landscape. What You’ll Do If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week: Led conversations with police forces and public safety organisations to understand operational challenges and identify how Mark43 can deliver value Built and progressed pipeline by engaging prospective customers across the UK policing ecosystem Navigated complex public sector procurement processes, maintaining momentum and attention to detail throughout Partnered with Marketing, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions Represented Mark43 at industry events, building relationships with key stakeholders across policing and government Strengthened your understanding of the UK policing landscape, including funding, procurement frameworks, and competitive dynamics Collaborated with internal stakeholders and UK leadership to shape go-to-market strategy in a developing region What You’ll Need We’re looking for an experienced enterprise seller who can navigate complex public sector sales and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. This role requires ownership, resilience, and the ability to operate effectively in a new and evolving market. 8 to 10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, ideally within the public sector Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently exceeding targets Experience working with UK public sector procurement processes and frameworks Ability to build credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and position solutions effectively Understanding of policing or wider public safety environments is highly desirable Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with support from Mark43 Comfortable working independently and driving progress across a broad and developing market People who thrive on our team also tend to be: Curious and proactive, with a strong desire to understand customer challenges and the broader policing landscape Resilient and persistent, particularly when navigating long and complex sales cycles Collaborative, with a team-first mindset and a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes Location This role is based in Manchester, UK, with a hybrid schedule of 2 to 3 days per week in the office when not traveling. Regular travel is expected for customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
