Role: Account Executive - Start-Up and Early-Stage Scale-Up Focus

Location: London – Hybrid

Start Date: August 2026

End Date: 6 months contract

Daily Rate: Inside IR35 - ( reviewed against KPIs every 6 months for renewal and potential 10% rate uplift )

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.

Join a new specialist Deloitte team built to scale the next generation of early-stage startups and fast-track their growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite and founder-level stakeholders
  • Drive qualified pipeline growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities using appropriate sales methodologies
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to deal close and handover
  • Deliver consistent revenue performance against agreed KPIs, targets, and growth objectives
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing and new accounts
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
  • Motivate, mentor and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives to best generate leads and drive sales

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 2-4 years professional experience in a corporate or agency sales role
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements
  • Proven ability to hit sales targets, bring in new business and build and sustain good business relationships
  • Experience negotiating and executing deals
  • Strong understanding of market mapping, psychographics and an ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial flair
  • Experience working towards KPIs and ability in setting them too
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong experience navigating CRM’s and Sales Intelligence Platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships well
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience having worked in a similar corporate sales role
  • Experience in early-stage or scaling SaaS businesses
  • Strong outbound prospecting capability
  • Background in lean teams where pipeline is not handed to you
  • Created strong network through previous professional experience
  • Experience in early-stage or scaling SaaS businesses
