Context
Cegid Retail is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to grow its Store Excellence solution across the UK and selected Northern European retail accounts.
Cegid gives you the backing of a major international software group, with the pace and visibility of a UK and Northern Europe business that is still being built. Reporting to the UK Country Manager & VP North Europe, you will join a close-knit retail team with proven technology, strong customer advocates and the opportunity to make a visible impact, with AI becoming an important part of the story.
What will you achieve?
As an Account Executive, you will build and close new enterprise opportunities by helping retailers connect store teams, improve execution consistency, reduce manual effort and gain better operational visibility across their store estate.

You will sell Store Excellence, Cegid’s SaaS solution dedicated to store communication, task management, activity planning, compliance, field operations and operational execution.
As An Account Executive, You Will
- Own and build your patch: drive new business pipeline across strategic retail accounts and land brand-new enterprise logos, from first outbound touch to signed contract.
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles — engaging Retail Ops, Store Ops, Field Leadership, IT, HR, Finance and senior leadership — armed with sharp account plans and mutual action plans.
- Get under the skin of customer challenges around execution, compliance, labour efficiency and operational consistency, and turn them into measurable business outcomes, never generic feature pitches.
- Champion Store Excellence as the engine behind productivity, execution quality, operational visibility and store engagement, tailored to each customer’s operating model.
- Bring qualification discipline and stakeholder mapping to every deal, building the credibility that turns first conversations into signatures. And use AI to accelerate research, preparation, and prospecting.
- Team up with presales, customer success, product, services and marketing to keep every deal moving, backed by evidence-based forecasting.
- Leverage AI to generate pipeline, prepare customer meetings, manage opportunities, and strengthen proposals and negotiations.

Profil De Candidat Recherché
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a proven track record in enterprise SaaS or complex software sales (+3 years experience in the field)
- Loves hunting for new business and opening new enterprise accounts
- Understands retail technology and the challenges faced by Retail Operations teams
- Can confidently engage stakeholders across Retail Operations, IT, HR, Finance and executive leadership
- Brings curiosity, ownership, resilience and a genuine passion for winning
- Experience with Store Operations, Store Execution, POS, Unified Commerce, CRM, Inventory, Workforce Management, Retail Intelligence or ERP solutions would be a real advantage.
- Has practical experience using AI to improve pipeline generation, meeting preparation, opportunity management, proposals and negotiation
