## The Role
As a commercially driven Transport Data Account Executive, you’ll help expand our UK presence, develop key customer relationships, and unlock growth opportunities across our transport portfolio.
This is a pivotal role for someone who loves opening doors, building strategic partnerships, and driving commercial success at the intersection of transport, analytics, and technology.
## Responsibilities
Driving New Business Growth
- Identify, nurture, and secure new transport sector opportunities across the UK.
- Introduce organisations to Tracsis Transport Data solutions, including:
- Traffic surveys
- Origin-destination studies
- Digital ANPR technology
- Active travel analytics
- FlowIQ services
- Data insight platforms
- Explore adjacent markets where transport data supports:
- Planning, infrastructure, mobility, or environmental decision-making.
- Build a high-quality pipeline that fuels Transport Data and Professional Services growth.
- Collaborate with local authorities, transport bodies, infrastructure providers, engineering consultancies, and private sector organisations.
Building Strategic Customer Partnerships
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at operational, technical, and senior decision-making levels.
- Align customer priorities with our solutions through collaborative problem-solving.
- Drive account growth, retention, and recurring revenue for Transport Data.
- Lead commercial initiatives for transport data opportunities and strategic customer engagements.

Leading and Developing a Team
- Provide commercial leadership to the Transport Data account structure.
- Mentor and line manage Traffic Key Account Managers.
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support performance development, team knowledge sharing, and cultural growth.
Working as One Tracsis
- Partner with Commercial, Product, Delivery, Marketing, and Technical teams across the business.
- Work closely with GeoIntelligence to identify cross-selling opportunities and integrated customer solutions.
- Help clients access the full breadth of Tracsis capabilities.
Owning Commercial Performance
- Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Support bids, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape growth strategies.
- Promote subscription, platform, and licence-based solutions that generate recurring revenue.
## What You Will Bring
We’re looking for commercially astute relationship-builders with a passion for delivering exceptional customer value.
Essential Experience
- Experience in business development, account management, or customer-facing roles.
- Transport data, transport planning, mobility, analytics, or infrastructure expertise.
- Proven track record of converting opportunities into revenue.
- Experience with leading, mentoring, or supporting commercial teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in dynamic environments.
- Experience managing CRM pipelines, forecasts, and commercial opportunities.

Desirable Experience
- Private or public sector transport knowledge (local authorities, transport agencies, engineering consultancies).
- Experience selling SaaS, software, or subscription-based solutions.
- Understanding of public sector procurement, tenders, and contract frameworks.
- Familiarity with transport analytics or remote working across UK/Ireland markets.
