Join a rapidly growing FinTech transforming how businesses access financial data

We're partnering with an exciting FCA-authorised FinTech that is redefining the embedded finance and open banking landscape. The business has spent the last few years building a market-leading platform that enables FinTechs, lenders, PropTech companies and other technology businesses to securely access customer transactional data through embedded open banking solutions.

The company is now entering its next phase of growth with a Seed funding round underway and ambitious plans to build its commercial team.

This is a rare opportunity to become the first GTM hire in the business and play a pivotal role in shaping the future go-to-market function.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Founder, you’ll be responsible for taking a high volume of inbound interest, improving qualification processes and creating a scalable sales development engine as well as closing opportunities.

You'll have the opportunity to influence how the sales function is built from day one, with genuine progression into future leadership opportunities as the company scales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full 360 sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities through to negotiating and closing new business.
  • Converting a high volume of warm inbound enquiries into paying customers while proactively generating new outbound opportunities.
  • Conducting consultative discovery calls to understand customer challenges, technical requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Presenting and demonstrating the platform, confidently communicating technical and compliance-led solutions to commercial, technical and compliance stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with FinTechs, lenders, PropTech businesses and other organisations looking to embed financial technology into their products.
  • Managing your own sales pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities and maintaining excellent CRM hygiene.
  • Working directly with the Founder to refine sales strategy, qualification processes, messaging and customer engagement.
  • Collaborating with product and compliance teams to ensure prospects receive accurate technical and regulatory guidance throughout the buying journey.
  • Continuously improving conversion rates by identifying opportunities to optimise the sales process and customer experience.
  • Helping to establish the foundations of a scalable commercial function, with the opportunity to recruit, mentor and lead future sales hires as the business grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
