Account Executive - Wolverhampton

Account Executive

Location: Wolverhampton Office or Remote (With Nationwide Travel)

Enitial (proudly part of the HSL Compliance Group) is the UK’s leading provider of independent field monitoring, sampling, and environmental services. With a highly skilled team of 80 specialist technicians nationwide, we work across diverse environmental settings to deliver business-critical data for permit compliance, planning consents, and operational monitoring. This role is a fantastic opportunity to act as the commercial bridge between our technical experts and our high-growth client portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the dedicated, primary point of contact for your account portfolio, resolving queries smoothly and acting as the interface between clients and Enitial’s operational teams.
  • Maximise sales opportunities within existing accounts, develop assigned prospects, and actively upsell services to maximise profitability.
  • Take a proactive approach to business development, generating accurate quotes and contributing directly to high-value tendering processes.
  • Work alongside our Technical Services Team to coordinate the completion of technical reports and data validations, sending them to clients and resolving any follow-up queries.
  • Identify key stakeholders within client organisations, ensuring they fully understand our service capabilities and future value-add propositions.
  • Schedule and attend regular client face-to-face meetings nationwide, while ensuring all completed operational work is accurately captured, chargeable, and invoiced.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in client management, account management, or client liaison roles.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the confidence to challenge the status quo and use your own initiative.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for speaking to existing and prospective clients, with excellent collaborative skills across internal departments.
  • A full UK driving licence and a willingness to undertake essential nationwide travel for client visits.
  • Practical experience carrying out environmental field work (giving you firsthand technical knowledge of our services).
  • A relevant degree or professional environmental/commercial qualification (Desirable).
