About the Role: Account Handler (Commercial Schemes)
We’re looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Account Handler to join our thriving Commercial Schemes division. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to develop within the insurance industry while supporting high-value clients.

- Prompt and accurate handling of all work while maintaining professionalism in both written and verbal communications
- Documentation management—ensuring all records, policies, and correspondence are accurate and professional
- Processing adjustments (including insurer notifications, revised documentation, and premium collections)
- Referral to senior staff for queries outside your defined expertise or authority
- Renewal and re-marketing exercises
- Dealing with client payments in line with company procedures
- Meeting participation as required
Requirements
Experience
- At least 12 months’ experience in customer service or administration is essential
Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all written and data-related tasks
- Strong numeracy and literacy for interpreting policies and client communications
- Effective time management—prioritising tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to adapt communication style based on audience (e.g., corporate clients, emerging ventures)
Qualifications
- 5+ GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C*, including Maths and English
