Account Executive – Real Estate Practice (Hybrid Role)
Location: Ipswich (Hybrid working)
About the Role
Join our thriving Real Estate Practice team as an Account Executive on a hybrid basis—an excellent opportunity to provide innovative risk solutions to a diverse range of clients, including Property Owners, Investors, Operators, Managers, and Developers. Working across UK and European property portfolios, every day presents new challenges and fresh opportunities across renewal and mid-term lifecycle stages.
A passion for client service and prowess in communication are essential. While familiarity with general insurance is beneficial, strong administrative skills and expert Microsoft Office (especially Excel) knowledge will give you a solid foundation.

Responsibilities
Your role will focus on delivering exceptional client service and portfolio management within the Real Estate sector. Key tasks include:
Core Account Management & Client Service
- Provide proactive day-to-day client support via voice, email, and third-party enquiries
- Assist with:
- Advice on risk scenarios across full insurance portfolios
- Contract reviews, additions, deletions, and acquisitions/disposals
- Technical analysis and renewal/portfolio strategy
- Quotation review and market alignment to meet client demands

Technical & Renewal Support
- Conduct data validation, manipulation, and market-presentable analysis
- Draft and finalise:
- Market Presentations, MRCs, Endorsements, and other renewal documents
- Renewal reports combining technical insights with client-specific knowledge
- Summaries for stakeholders (client, managing agents, tenants, network teams)
- Negotiate renewal terms and mid-term adjustments
Collaborative & Strategic Work
- Attend key client and market meetings
- Work with Insurers, overseas networks, and internal divisions to resolve technical and portfolio issues
- Act as portfolio liaison across WTW’s divisions and offices to meet renewal and mid-term needs
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
Financial Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
- preferably working towards Dip CII or another qualified insurance background (helpful but not essential)
- broad knowledge of Real Estate insurance products and the London Market
Administrative & Commercial Skills:
- proven track record in high-level client service
- ability to manage volume SME (Small-to-Medium Enterprise) business in the UK
- strong ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships
- skilled communicator, negotiator, and influencer
- competent in processes, systems, and financial/modelling software
- advanced MS Excel proficiency (data management, manipulation)
