About The Role
In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the account operational teams. You will
take responsibility for budgets, P&L management, and identifying opportunities for cost savings to support our client. You will manage available resources, promote an ethos of teamwork and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also ensure that all sub-contracted service providers deliver safe and consistent services and promote a culture of safe service excellence. You will develop relationship built on trust with the client team in addition to delivering performance reporting data as required by the MSA.
Key Responsibilities
Service delivery – operational management of internal and external service delivery teams across countries within scope, ensuring quality of services provided is continually improved and exceeds customer expectations. Implement and maintain best-practice – procedures in line with company policy and client specified standards for QSHEW, quality, environmental, and technical standards, supporting a “Safety First - Going Home Safe and Well” culture. Reporting and regular updates – report to the client on a regular basis, including meeting minutes, monthly and quarterly reports, and financial reconciliation reporting. Supply chain management – ensure a high level of service is achieved through robust management of suppliers, benchmarking of costs and measurement of performance Emergency management – take control and responsibility for emergency situations, act as the point of escalation for the Macro team, and ensure senior management is consulted and informed. Financial management – budget responsibility and financial reporting to both the Client and Macro Risk management – manage and minimise contractual, financial and operational risks to maintain or improve performance. Relationship management – client and team relations Strategic and technical support – general advice to customers, peers and team Business development – identify and pursue opportunities to add value in continuous support of both the client and Macro. Innovation and sustainability – Share relevant innovation and sustainability solutions to help improve service delivery, benefits and ROI. Senior management reporting – Advice senior management of any perceived risks and recommended mitigation actions Reporting – Submit concise reports to senior business leaders covering people, client, and financial performance. Contract management – Produce monthly performance reports for the Macro Portfolio Director and act as the first point of contact for all contract interfaces with the Client Communication - 360-degree communication, cascading information to customers, peers, and team members while keeping the Macro management team fully informed. People management – line management of staff through mentoring, coaching, development, performance reviews, and the implementation of Macro behaviours. Documentation and process – assist with the production of documents and information for the Macro management team. Networking – keep abreast of industry best practice by maintaining relationships with peers in similar market sectors.

The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. Proven leadership experience in a similar role. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Excellent customer service skills, supported by demonstrable experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation. Strong organisational skills. Flexible working style and approach. Ability and willingness to travel across Europe.
