Account Manager

Full-time Congleton, Cheshire
From £30,000 basic + uncapped bonus tied to the revenue you retain

From £30,000 basic + uncapped bonus tied to the client relationships you build and keep

A new role at GAP GNX for someone who wants to grow into the centre of a fast-moving business — starting close to the work, then becoming the person our adviser firms rely on day to day.

About GAP GNX

GAP GNX supplies pre-qualified pension consolidation appointments to financial adviser firms across the UK. We generate consumer enquiries, qualify them properly, and hand advisers appointments that are worth their time. We're growing quickly — and the firms we work with need looking after properly. That's where this role comes in.

The role

This is a broad, client-facing commercial role with real room to grow. You won't be boxed into a narrow job.

You'll start close to the coalface — learning how we qualify enquiries and book appointments — because you can't look after clients well until you understand exactly what we sell them and why it works.

From there, the role becomes the day-to-day home for our adviser-firm relationships. You'll be the person they speak to, the voice they trust — the one who picks up, sorts things out, and makes their life easier. Your job is to build a healthy handful of strong, long-term client relationships and keep them thriving. Think account management and business development in one: owning the client side of the business, with the commercial side (converting and closing appointments) running alongside.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll do

  • Learn appointment setting and lead qualification from the ground up
  • Become the day-to-day contact for the adviser firms we supply
  • Handle client queries and problems quickly and well — advisers will rely on you

Who we're looking for

  • A graduate (or equivalent) who is sharp, ambitious and genuinely wants to earn
  • Naturally engaging — the kind of person others enjoy speaking to and remember for the right reasons
  • Quick-witted and articulate, comfortable holding a room, a call, or a difficult client
  • Organised and dependable, with the maturity to be a firm's main point of contact
  • A background in recruitment, sales, or client-facing work is a strong advantage
  • Someone who wants a career they can grow — and to be paid well for building something that lasts
